Having a pet in a hovel like hers is abuse. If one falls in love with a cat and wants to keep it safe – then goes to the extent of having them fixed/vaccinated – allowing them back outside to live only 2-3 years* as opposed to keeping them indoors to live 5-10 times as long (*statistically) is an understandable choice. Domestic pets are at risk when outdoors unattended (disease, predators, animal haters). NO offense meant to anyone with outdoor cats, and I'm all for the spay/release program!

There is no excuse for the state of this house. That poor cat is probably sick and her boyfriend will never marry her because then THEIR house will look like hers does.

@CheapBeer09 Because its dangerous for cats to be outdoors. They are at the risk of being hit by cars, stolen, or attacked by other animals. People who sincerely care about their pet's well being will keep them outdoors, and restrained if allowed outside.

That cat is thinking "I bet if I puke all over this place it will get condemed and when she is forced to move I can make my escape." Poor kitty does not deserve to live like that.
